JOURNEY WITH ME
Welcome to Faith unLeeshed! Not many of you may know this but I am a Preacher’s Kid (PK – so she must be crazy) and a church planter (more to come on that). I believe God’s word is alive and still active today and in this space, I plan to share with you my journey with Christ. I won’t always be “right”, but I will be honest. Call it my WIP Theology. Everyone’s walk toward and with Jesus looks different. I know mine has changed more in the past two years than I even thought possible. And that’s okay. It’s deeper now, more worn now, more compassionate with a broader understanding now.
It’s funny how we can think of our faith in logical, linear terms when it is everything but that.
It’s planting seeds in the dark, watering them with tears and with worship, and allowing God to shine his Son on them and hoping for growth. My mentor reminded me that trees grow down first and then sprout up. I know the season I found myself in more recently was one of process and purpose. The root work. The messy work. The hurt work. The vine work. The shifting and the sifting work. And maybe you came for the fashion, clicked around and found yourself here. I pray you stay. And journey with me. It’s here that I am seeking His kingdom. All the style, and everything else will be added.
This for me is not “just” a blog, or “just” a business. This is holy work, this is my ministry. This is the new thing where He has provided ‘a way in the wilderness, a river in the desert’.
